As you can see from my picture, I have plenty of gray hair. I grew up in Ventura, and before I became an attorney spent much of my adult life working in and around Los Angeles in the film and TV industry. I have owned and operated several internet marketing companies and have done web design, search engine optimization, and guerilla marketing and sales. I have renovated homes, invested in real estate, and owned some rental properties.
As my work history reveals, I was a lot of things before I ever decided to become a lawyer. And fortunately for my clients, each of these life experiences taught me a lot that benefits them today:
Most important, all of these experiences taught me that facing legal issues can be overwhelming and scary. I’ve been on the wrong side of legal disputes in the past, so when I say I understand what you’re going through, I don’t mean that I can imagine — I’ve been there. In fact, it’s because I know what it’s like to be involved in lawsuits that I decided to become a lawyer in the first place. Now, I like to think of my job as taking some of the worry off your shoulders so you can get back to focusing on what matters most in your life.
It means more than I can say to not only show someone the light at the end of the tunnel, but to help them reach it.
