Interior AP

As you can see from my picture, I have plenty of gray hair. I grew up in Ventura, and before I became an attorney spent much of my adult life working in and around Los Angeles in the film and TV industry. I have owned and operated several internet marketing companies and have done web design, search engine optimization, and guerilla marketing and sales. I have renovated homes, invested in real estate, and owned some rental properties.

As my work history reveals, I was a lot of things before I ever decided to become a lawyer. And fortunately for my clients, each of these life experiences taught me a lot that benefits them today:

  • The entertainment industry taught me about intellectual property, copyright, contracts, and entertainment law.
  • The internet industry taught me about the web, social media, contracts, defamation law, and litigation.
  • The real estate business taught me about homeowners’ association law, real estate law, and landlord/tenant law.

Most important, all of these experiences taught me that facing legal issues can be overwhelming and scary. I’ve been on the wrong side of legal disputes in the past, so when I say I understand what you’re going through, I don’t mean that I can imagine — I’ve been there. In fact, it’s because I know what it’s like to be involved in lawsuits that I decided to become a lawyer in the first place. Now, I like to think of my job as taking some of the worry off your shoulders so you can get back to focusing on what matters most in your life.

It means more than I can say to not only show someone the light at the end of the tunnel, but to help them reach it.

Why Do I Do This?

I’ve made standing up for others my life’s work because to me, nothing — NOTHING — compares to the feeling of satisfaction I get when I’m able to make a client’s life better by solving their stressful problems or by helping them out of a jam. I’m passionate about making your life better, easier, and less stressful.

If the idea of working with a lawyer makes you anxious, I completely understand. There are a lot of negative stereotypes out there about attorneys, but I frequently hear from my clients that I’m nothing like what they expected. Maybe it’s because I spent so much time in other roles before I started practicing law. To get an idea of what it’s like to work with me, I encourage you to read my clients’ testimonials.

What Makes Me Your Personal Lifetime Lawyer?

I’ve been there, and as your Ventura lawyer, I am 100% on your side and in your corner. You need one person in your life that you can count on. Give me a call, or send an email or text.
